WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The international law firm of Fulbright & Jaworski L.L.P. today announced that Daniel F. Collins joined Fulbriight's Washington, D.C. office as of counsel.

Collins joins the firm as of counsel in its Energy Department in Washington, D.C. Prior to joining Fulbright, Collins served as Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel for the El Paso Corporation in its Washington, D.C. office. He also served as Vice President of Regulatory Law for The Coastal Corporation. In addition, he has practiced before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, the National Energy Board of Canada, various state regulatory commissions and the United States District and Appellate Courts.

Collins received a B.A. from Hofstra University in 1964 and his J.D. from Washington College of Law of American University in 1967. He is a member of the District of Columbia Bar, and the American, Federal and Energy Bar Associations.
