Fulbright Partner Anderson Makes Super Lawyer List
June 4, 2003

Alan Anderson made the list for one of the top forty intellectual property super lawyers in Minnesota. The June/July 2003 issue of Minnesota Law & Politics announced its twelfth annual Super Lawyers List.

Anderson joined Fulbright's Minneapolis office as a partner in 2001. A trial lawyer practicing in all areas of commercial litigation, he practices intellectual property litigation. Handling patent, trademark and copyright infringement cases, as well as trade secret and unfair competition matters, he also represents franchisors in franchise-related litigation. Anderson is certified as both a civil trial advocate and civil trial specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy and Minnesota State Bar Association, respectively.

The twelfth annual Super Lawyer list is compiled from 18,000 ballots mailed to randomly selected attorneys across Minnesota. Attorneys are asked to vote for the best lawyers they have personally observed in action - whether as opposing counsel, as co-counsel or from first-person observation in the courtroom. Over 12,000 nominating votes were verified and counted. Lawyers who received only same-firm votes were eliminated from the list of candidates as well as two lawyers voting for each other. The final list of Super Lawyers represents 6 percent of the lawyers licensed to practice in Minnesota. Attorneys include those in private practice, non-private practice lawyers, in-house counsel and public-service lawyers.
