Award Honors Fulbright as Top Firm for Client Service in the United States
Washington, D.C./Houston – The international law firm of Fulbright & Jaworski L.L.P. received the Client Choice Award as the top firm for client service in the United States from the International Law Office, the official online media partner to the International Bar Association (IBA) and an international media partner to the Association of Corporate Counsel. The award was presented to Fulbright at the IBA’s annual meeting in Prague, Czech Republic, on September 27, 2005. The prestigious award honors the top law firm in 34 jurisdictions, based on survey responses received from more than 1,000 corporate counsel.

Firms selected for the Client Choice Award were rated in the following areas: quality of legal advice, value for money, commercial awareness, effective communication, billing transparency, tailored fee structures, depth of team, response time, sharing of experience and use of technology. The results of the survey were combined with in-depth interviews and additional research to compile the final list of outstanding client service law firms worldwide.

Accepting the award on the firm’s behalf in Prague were Jeffrey A. Blount, co-head of the firm’s International Department and partner-in-charge of the Hong Kong office, and C. Mark Baker, co-head of both the International Department and International Arbitration Practice.
