CREW Network is a professional association of women decision makers from over 20 disciplines of commercial real estate. Currently, there are more than 7,000 members in markets across the United States and Canada.
According to the Real Estate Alert publication, in 2005, CREW members handled 80% of the top multi-family transactions, 100% of the top hotel investments, 67% of the largest single retail sales, and 73% of the top property sales.
In addition the CREW Foundation developed a national program CREW Careers: Building Opportunities, that helps girls learn about career opportunities in commercial real estate.
The Foundation has awarded more than $500,000 to programs, specifically focused on economic self-sufficiency for women and girls. The Public Relations Society of America- National Capital Chapter awarded CREW Network its Thoth Award in the category of Research and Evaluation for CREW Network’s 2005 study of the status and achievements of women in commercial real estate.
