On October 20, 2011, CMS and the OIG released final rules, the DOJ and FTC released a final notice and the IRS released a Fact Sheet related to the Medicare Shared Savings Program and the formation of accountable care organizations. The final rules come after the health care industry reacted largely with disfavor over perceived inflexibility in the proposed rules. This webinar covered the changes that were made and to what extent the federal agencies addressed the concerns raised by the health care industry.
