Our St. Louis office primarily focuses on health care. One of the largest legal practices in the United States with approximately 950 lawyers and more than 60 integrated service areas, We have one of the top-rated health care teams  in the profession.

For more than 50 years, we have represented health care clients in a wide range of issues, including tax matters, federal compliance issues, and commercial and professional malpractice claims. We have also been deeply involved in the development of both large and small health care providers as well as community health clinics.

In 1979, we were one of the first large general service legal practices to organize a health care team, bringing together a highly knowledgeable group of lawyers devoted exclusively to the representation of health care clients. This synergy has fueled our growth from the original six health care lawyers to dozens of health care lawyers located in Houston, New York, Los Angeles, Austin, Dallas, Minneapolis, San Antonio, St. Louis and Washington, D.C.

Since its founding in 1919, we have been built on a strong belief in the personal relationship between client and lawyer and our desire to excel. Our ability to practice with these ideals every day can be measured in part by the recognition that we consistently receives from peers and clients.

• For the eleventh year, Corporate Board Member magazine reported that its survey of public company directors identified the firm as one of the top 25 corporate legal practices in the nation.
