Since the founding of our office in Houston in 1919, we have remained focused on client service and on the changing needs of our clients. Today, lawyers at our Houston location work with clients in dozens of industries.

Community service is also part of our heritage. For the third year in a row and the fourth time in six years, the firm received the Houston Bar Foundation's large legal practice award for outstanding contribution to the Houston Volunteer Lawyers Program.

We also initiated a program to provide pro bono services  of associate lawyers to the Office of the City Attorney of Houston on a rotating basis to try cases in Municipal Court under the supervision of City prosecutors.

In addition, the Houston location was named by the Houston Business Journal as 2004's "Best Place to Work" among large employers in Houston. This is the second year the firm secured the top spot among companies with more than 500 employees. The firm has been on the top ten list for three years running.
