George Jordan is a senior counsel in the firm's Houston location. His practice focuses on patent litigation and intellectual property due diligence. George's experience has encompassed a wide range of technologies including cellular phones/networks, set-top boxes, cable modems, television, software, smartphone applications, computers, e-commerce systems, processors, automated inspection systems, cameras, game consoles, memory devices, pumps, soil injections and wheel aligners.
He has handled:
- over 50 patent infringement suits;
- validity investigations for over 100 patents; and
- drafting of over 150 patents.

- Defending a group of travel and e-commerce companies in the District of Delaware against patent infringement claims concerning mobile phone applications
- Defending a semiconductor company in the Western District of Texas against patent infringement claims concerning baseband processors for cellular phones
- Lead counsel in defense of a communications semiconductor company with customers in multi-district litigation against patent infringement claims concerning cable modem and digital television systems – Involved sixteen patent suits and nine patents
- Representing a semiconductor inspection company in the District of Minnesota in enforcing patent infringement claims concerning automated wafer inspection systems
- Representing a semiconductor company in the District of New Jersey in enforcing and defending against patent infringement claims concerning memory devices – Involved seven patents
- Defending a communication solutions company in suits in the Western District of Texas and the Western District of Wisconsin against patent infringement claims concerning cellular phones/networks, set-top boxes and computer boards – Involved thirty-four patents and hundreds of accused products
- Defending a wireless communications company in the Eastern District of Texas against patent infringement claims concerning pre-paid cellular telephone network systems
- Defending a telecommunications company in the Eastern District of Texas against patent infringement claims concerning Internet browsers
- Defending an online university in the Eastern District of Texas and Eastern District of Virginia against patent infringement claims concerning online educational services
- Defending an automotive technology company in the Eastern District of Virginia against patent infringement claims concerning tire pressure monitoring systems
- Lead counsel in defense of a pipeline services company and its principals in the Southern District of Georgia against patent infringement and breach of contract claims concerning pipe bursting
- Defending an oil services company in the Northern District of Texas against patent infringement claims concerning software for measuring the fluid level in oil wells
