Fulbright partner Kevin O'Gorman was recently conferred the Chair's Special Recognition Award by Michael Burke, chair of the 23,000- member American Bar Association Section of International Law.
The award cited O'Gorman's commitment and dedication to the section and his service as division chair. O'Gorman is the outgoing chair of the disputes division, and served on the section's council. He previously chaired the section's international arbitration committee and served as its senior advisor.
O'Gorman is a partner in Fulbright's Houston office and practices in Fulbright's arbitration, litigation and international groups. He represents clients in international, energy, commercial, investor-state and construction disputes and serves as arbitrator in domestic and international cases.
O'Gorman is admitted in Texas, New York and England and Wales (Solicitor) and is a Life Fellow of the American Bar Foundation.
